Stress Echocardiogram in Phoenix at Wofson Integrative Cardiology
A stress echocardiogram combines a treadmill stress test with an echocardiogram to increase the diagnostic yield of detecting coronary artery disease. Baseline ultrasound images are taken and then the patient exercises on the treadmill. Immediately after the treadmill portion is over, post exercise images are obtained. Dr. Wolfson then assess all the data and interprets the findings.
Please do not eat or drink for three hours prior to this test and wear comfortable clothes. The total time of the test is less than one hour including preparation.
