Human existence is one way but here are some studies.

In patients with metabolic syndrome, the Paleo group lowered blood pressure, blood sugar, insulin, LDL, and triglycerides versus a Dutch Health Council recommended diet. (1)

Blood sugar improves in diabetic patients on Paleo vs. Diabetes Diet. (2)

Post-menopausal women lose more weight. (3)

There are many more studies, all with the same findings.
